Excerpt
Excerpt: I cannot get to the meeting on July 22 but do have comments for the record. establish sanctuaries in the ocean where no one can catch any fish or marine life at all make sure commercial fish quotas are cut 50% this year and l0% each year thereafter in accordance with the united nations report on overfishing, the pew foundation report on overfishing and the pew foundation report on biased regional fishing councils. Protect marine life from sonar, poisons and aquaculture - all of which can wipe it out by horrible methods of disease and injury. We do not need ships that get bigger and bigger and bigger. We should have a maximum size established and we have reached that size already.
